Structural assessment of the FIT building complex for the School of Arts, Culture and Design situated at Carpenter Street in Raiwai, Suva in 2002. Areas which Erasito Consultants Limited were engaged to investigate included the analysis of the entire structure for cyclone forces using a 57 m/s wind speed and the Australian Wind Code (AS1170.2), design of member sizes of the entire roof structure to check stability of members, assess building loadings i.e. seismic loading, dead loads, live loads, etc using the NZS 4203:1992, carry out a fire assessment report on the entire structure using the NZS Fire Code of Practice and to ensure that all OHS requirements are complied with.

Services provided by Erasito Consultants included modelling the deck structure and carry out a structural, load capacity analysis of the superstructure; carry out a deck strengthening exercise to increase the load capacity to withstand a 60tonne forklift working load; compile contract drawings; compile tender documentation; evaluate tenders and award the contract; supervise construction works.
